KNOWLEDGE BOWL DETAILS
ARE ANNOUNCED

The 2019 Knowledge Bowl will take place on Friday, February 22 at the Victoria College Student Center.  This is the 26th annual event that is put on by the Victoria Literacy Council in partnership with the Rotary Clubs of Victoria.  The Victoria Literacy Council needs Rotarians to man workstations and a volunteer sign up has been posted on our website.  Additionally, if you have friends that enjoy competition and winning for bragging rights, a team registration form is available on our website under downloadable documents.

The volunteers are invited to come at 5:00pm and enjoy a 6-inch Subway sandwich and beverage at the Student Center.  The program begins at 6:00pm and ends at approximately 9:00pm.  It is a great opportunity to socialize with your fellow Rotarians from the other clubs.  The volunteer positions include:  Marshall--this position helps to show the contestants to their tables and monitor throughout the event
(5 ppl needed); Runners--position picks up the completed answer sheets from each team and delivers it to the judging room (5 ppl needed); Judges--position reviews, scores and tallies the answer sheet. (20 ppl needed).  This is an easy, interesting and fun night out.
