Victoria Ballet Theatre: A Legacy in Motion
Brenda Serrata Tally, a Victoria native, is a dancer, arts educator, and choreographer dedicated to fostering young artists' creativity through dance. She is the owner and director of the Ballet Academy of South Texas and executive artistic director of Victoria Ballet Theatre, an honor company with Regional Dance America. Brenda holds an MFA in Dance Performance from the University of Iowa and a BFA in Modern Dance from the University of Utah. An award-winning choreographer, she has created over 20 original works for Victoria Ballet Theatre. She also teaches as an adjunct professor at the University of Houston-Victoria and serves on several boards, including The Vine School, the Victoria Convention & Visitors Bureau Tourism Board, and both the national and southwest regional boards of Regional Dance America.
