DESCRIPTION:What is RYLA+? RYLA+ is a unique\, multi-dimensional leadership
  development experience for high school sophomores and juniors. This progr
 am\, highlighting Rotary values and concepts\, was designed by Rotarians a
 nd RYLA Alumni to prepare students to be engaged citizens who are able to 
 lead with strong essential leadership skills\, such as communication\, inn
 ovation\, collaboration\, and more. During this transformative program\, s
 tudents are able to make connections in a digital environment through inte
 ractive games and activities\, while building the foundation for their ski
 lls. Students then meet up in person at the beautiful campground for an en
 tire weekend of immersive activities\, such as ropes and challenge courses
 \, a problem-solving pirate treasure hunt\, and team challenges. RYLA+ cul
 minates with Rotary Warriors\, an activity exploring Rotary International
 ’s Seven Areas of Focus. Alumni are invited back to continue growing the
 ir leadership skills for years to come through service as staff members\, 
 increasing their responsibilities and contributions to the program each ye
 ar.
