VICTORIA ROTARY CLUB PRESENTS CHECK TO FOOD BANK OF THE GOLDEN CRESCENT

The Victoria Rotary Club recently presented a check for $7225 to the Food Bank of the Golden Crescent.  The non-profit partnered with the Victory Rotary Club in support of the 2016 Jack Whitmire Clay Shoot. This donation will help the food bank provide over 57,800 pounds of food to those facing food insecurity.

The Victoria Rotary Club raised additional grant monies that will be awarded to several non-profits early in 2017.  To apply for grant funds, request an application from vrcsecretary@gmail.com.
 
SAVE THE DATE for the 2017 Jack Whitmire Charity Clay Shoot which will take place on April 22-23.
The revamped Shoot will feature
  • a catered steak dinner
  • with silent and live auctions as well as
  • the calcutta on Saturday evening, April 22.
